The monetary unit in the solar system is the Solar Mark, for those that don't know it. Because of the trade between worlds insystem it became the agreed upon money standard. "Marks" for short.

The standard monetary unit for the Saurah Empire is the kazra. The current exchange rate is 2.7 between them. So 1 kazra = 2.7 solar marks.
Most kazra is transferred by computer and such, but if physical currency is required the kazra is represented in a 1.5 inch wide golden hexagonal coins. The kazra coins have Saurah script pressed on the front, at the bottom, that marks it’s denomination (1, 5, 10, 50, 100 or 1000). The center of the front face has one of the important emperors of the empire the 1 denomination having Garidem Rulghor, the first emperor. On the top front is the imperial symbol. The backside of all the kazra have an engraving of Saurata the center of imperial power.
The kazra is divided up into ten subunits called kazrin. The kazrin is a 1 inch, silver, square coin.
